WPDelayCron
WPDelayCron is a plugin to adjust when WordPress runs the cron script instead of happening every page view.
This is a simple optimization that can result in a dramatic reduction in CPU usage for high traffic sites.
At it’s default, this plugin is set to 100 page views. This means it will only run the cron every 100 page views. A site that gets 1000 page views in a day will run the cron 10 times that day.
